I got the dubious honour of getting linked by Tony on “keeping stock” i believe he was momentarily blinded by the searing incitefulness of my ’satire’. But someone wrote in and said I was no ‘Steve Braunias’.
That I have no voice and make grammatical and spelling errors.
Well you can imagine how I felt. Like I was back in form 2 with some sweaty student teacher ‘making his bones’ on my ‘What I Did In My Holidays’ essay.
About that big.
Anyway, eager to be instructed I went and looked up Steve Braunias, whom I assumed was a fictitous character invented to prove tht I lack satirical credibility.
I’m pleased to annnounce that I’m gratified to be mentioned in the same breath as the man.
Superb writing, enjoyable, well-informed and , well, ‘perky’ come to mind. So, to that anonymous poster who told me I am ‘corny’ – I wish to extend my thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

.
And to Steve Braunias (if that is your real name) – I know you live in Point Chev and what you look like, so if you see a clapped-out Nissan Crapola speeding at you driven by someone who looks like a younger, handsomer ‘Galen’ (Of Planets of the Apes’ fame), Get out the way quick. Satire is a dangerous game.
